RIET TRANSPORT COMPANY LIMITED was birthed through the innovative ideas of its founder Mr. Godwin Korblah Tamakloe and Mrs. Alice Zemson as his Director and Secretary. His desire to provide a comprehensive solution to the loading, transportation and delivery of Petroleum and allied products led to the formation of RIET TRANSPORT COMPANY LIMITED. The Company was duly registered and incorporated under the Companies Act 1963 (ACT 179) in August 6, 2014 and granted a Certificate to Commence Business in August 11, 2014. From its humble beginnings, the company started out with just two (2) Bulk Road Vehicles (BRVs) and a staff strength of four (4). Due to its expansion the business had to relocate to a larger more suitable premises at Kpone to accommodate and efficiently handle the increase in its fleet of trucks and services. Soon the business expanded its services to other logistic bases in Takoradi, Kumasi and Buipe and since then the business has grown substantially.
The company’s management is minimal in order to keep the overheads low. Together, management have more than eight (8) years of experience within the petroleum transport industry and with Mr. Godwin Korblah Tamakloe as the Chief Executive, the company will continue to tap into his resilience and determination which is the driving force behind the business’ growth. RIET TRANSPORT COMPANY LIMITED’s labour force consists of semi-skilled to skilled employees and up skilling is taking place on a regular basis. A Personal Development Plan (PDP) is developed for all staff in line with the implementation of a Performance Management System throughout the organization.
